OK, I've been sitting on this post long enough. I've got people coming over soon, so it's time to wrap this up and start making my house look a little less like it was recently visited by the ironborn!
P.S. I've been on a long, strange journey searching for ASOIAF icons, and this one is by far my favorite...or it would would be, if they'd gotten the freakin' quote right! I'm looking at pg. 258 of the Del Rey paperback edition, and it says: "All that is gold does not glitter/Not all those who wander are lost;/The old that is strong does not wither,/Deep roocts are not reached by the frost." This bugs the Tolkien fangirl in me more than I can say. Oh, well; it's still one of my favorite Tolkien quotes.
