Writer's Block: Comped

[Error: unknown template qotd]Probably "insightfully written," which was written across the top of a paper I did on The Poisonwood Bible in my old English class. The teacher who taught that class was one whom I respected and admired very much, but had extremely high standards and expectations for her students, especially in her AP class. I, who had pulled straight As for the last seven years, was struggling to maintain a C+ in her class. She really made us think, but she valued our right to interpret the books we read the way we saw them, and not just churn out stock answers. She was also just plain awesome. Lord of the Rings, Beowulf, and James Joyce...good times.
