I LIIIIIIVE! Yeah, been around even less than usual this week. Last week of classes and all that... Thankfully, the reading was pretty light (duh), but I had two papers due to make up for it. I'm a little worried about both of them, albeit for different reasons - the shorter one is for the GSI who really loved my last one and put it in her How To Write Papers powerpoint, but that was on a subject I really love (and I got to actually put all that Celtic Studies stuff to use! Go me!), and I was less on fire about this one, so I'm afraid her expectations will be too high. STOP EXPECTING ME TO SUCCEED, WORLD! *sob* The other one...eh, I guess it's just because we only had the one paper for the class, so I don't really know what the professor/GSI is looking for.

Music meme: Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For A Hero" (although you may be more familiar with the Shrek 2 version). This is just one of those epic 80s songs that I unabashedly love, okay? I think this is the last song I'll be doing for the music meme, which is fitting, because there are a LOT of fanvids for this one.
- An Avengers one (with, hilariously, the Shrek 2 version), as well as a proper Avengers one.
- A Firefly one (which is seriously one of my favorite fanvids ever. No, seriously, this thing is a work of art).
- A couple of Buffy ones, although sadly the first one isn't as great as it ought to be, and the second one is a little short.
- Predictably, quite a lot of Disney ones (although, unpredictably, the ladies get their fare share of representation too), although I like this Mulan one in particular.
- A Babylon 5 one, apparently made officially for the show, with JMS's seal of approval and everything!
- A Star Wars one (weirdly, the only original trilogy one I could find - all the others were for the prequels and/or games).
- A NuTrek one - a bit over-edited IMHO, but good nonetheless.
- A few Doctor Who ones, mostly Ten for some reason.
- Even a Torchwood one! Shocker, I know.
- A surprising number of LotR ones.
- Of course, a few AtLA ones., although sadly not so many for the ladies. Boo.
- Oh, and it's included on the Hornblower one - does that count?
Fandoms this totally needs to be a fanvid for: YOUNG AVENGERS (no, seriously, I have every shot worked out in my head), Vorkosigan Saga (ohai, Miles' hero complex and double dose of Hero Gene), Discworld (Going Postal in particular, but I could go for a tongue-in-cheek Rincewind one, too).
